Currently, I am a professor of business (concentration in digital marketing and management). I also manage CS Group Marketing LLC. I have worked with over 120 business consulting and coaching in the areas of a marketing, sales, digital assets, CRM's and SAAS infrastructure, executive business consultant, strategic marketing, performance management, capital campaigns, business/fund development, and training/educational instruction. My ability to understand different personality traits and people of diverse backgrounds has allowed me to become successful in business. My passion for education, training, and developing others has allowed me to progress in academia.
I am a graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. I also received my MBA from the University of Phoenix. I have served over 10 years in the military, for two terms until my departure in 2014. As a military Logistic Supply Specialist, my duties were strategic sourcing and the management of inventories, equipment, commodities, supplies, and purchasing. As a Chaplain’s Assistant my duties were to be the Chaplain’s force protection, to brief leadership of UMT mission, and to adhere all military intelligence research and reports.
As a Senior Project Manager for Research in Action, Inc., I managed over 3 million dollars in contracts, developed, implemented and managed various projects for various Department of Educations. I exceeded assigned project revenue goals by 24% through developing and applying mitigation strategies to reduce risk and negotiating contracts. I helped to reduce indirect costs, ensure budgetary resources were utilized properly, and managed all human resource activities needed to staff and execute projects assigned.
As a contracted Property/Estate manager with SYM Realty, I managed a small apartment community and 51 single family properties, acquired 4 through litigation, and managed a team of two maintenance workers, and a leasing agent. I increase occupancy rate by 28% and revenue by 41%. I networked with investors and liquidated the estate totaling over 1.2 million dollars in revenue.
As the Executive Director for A Kingdom Connection Changing Lives, Inc. (AKCCL), a public charity that provides educational programs, social services, and human services to the communities of South Louisiana and North Carolina. I secured contracts and funding with various schools and the City of Baton Rouge, and establishing sustaining membership donations funds with local businesses. I oversaw all programs for the organization, ensured the fiscal integrity of the organization, managed human resource activities, auxiliary services, marketing, contract negotiations, fee for service assisted living programs, fund development and grant administration. I managed various grants with the Office of the Mayor President in Baton Rouge, Louisiana such as SAMHSA and American Heart Association.
As Chief of Staff at AKCCL, I provided comprehensive HR leadership— overseeing hiring, training, performance management, compliance, organizational culture, and staff support. I managed educators and program teams serving at-risk youth, veterans with PTSD, and juvenile offenders, ensuring all personnel were prepared, aligned, and supported in delivering trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate education.
