With over 20 years of experience in the fashion and accessories industry, I bring a deep, real-world understanding of design, product development, and brand entrepreneurship. I earned my degree in Industrial Design from Ferris State University and have held senior design roles at major brands including Vera Bradley, Victoria’s Secret, Kenneth Cole, and Target. My professional journey—from leading corporate design teams to launching my own accessories brand in New York City—has given me firsthand insight into both the creative and commercial sides of the fashion business. I also hold a U.S. patent for the Tote Hanger®, an organizational product I designed, manufactured, and marketed nationally.
My ideal students are emerging designers, entrepreneurs, or creative professionals seeking practical industry knowledge to bridge the gap between school and real-world success. Whether they are building their portfolios or starting a product line, I provide mentorship in trend forecasting, design execution, sourcing, manufacturing, and brand development. My teaching style is hands-on and mentorship-driven—I aim to equip students with the technical skill, creative confidence, and entrepreneurial mindset needed to thrive in today's competitive design world.
