I am an experienced mathematics tutor who specializes in helping students build genuine understanding, confidence, and long-term academic success. Over the years, I have worked extensively with middle school, high school, and college students in subjects ranging from Pre-Algebra and Algebra through Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus, Statistics, SAT/ACT Math, and other advanced mathematics courses.

I hold a strong academic background in mathematics and have spent years providing individualized instruction to students with a wide variety of learning styles, abilities, and goals. My experience includes helping students who are struggling to pass a course, preparing high-achieving students for competitive exams, and working with advanced learners seeking deeper mathematical understanding. Throughout my tutoring career, I have consistently earned outstanding reviews from students and families who value my ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, logical, and approachable way.

My teaching philosophy is centered on understanding rather than memorization. Every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to the individual's strengths, weaknesses, and pace. I carefully identify gaps in foundational knowledge, build those foundations, and then guide students toward mastering increasingly challenging material. I encourage questions, develop critical thinking skills, and teach students how to approach unfamiliar problems with confidence.

My ideal students are motivated learners who want to improve, whether they are currently struggling, aiming for top grades, preparing for standardized tests such as the SAT, or seeking enrichment beyond the classroom. I particularly enjoy working with students who are enthusiastic about their learning goals, but I believe that each student is ideal in their own unique way.

My goal is not only to help students improve their grades and test scores, but to help them become capable, independent problem-solvers who can leverage their potential to be excellent students long after our tutoring sessions have ended.
